Yesterday I made something delicious. The idea came from my
childhood, this is something that back home we could get from street vendors.
It’s basically toasted baguette with mushrooms, melted cheese and ketchup. I
make my own version with tomatoes and green onion.
Ingredients:
baguette or any buns will do,mushrooms,
tomatoes,
green onion,
shredded cheese,
margarine,
ketchup,
salt and pepper.
Preheat oven to 400F, line cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Cut the buns in half and spread the margarine, arrange then
on the prepared sheet.
Slice the mushrooms and fry them with a pinch of salt, when
they are done put some on each bun.
Next add slices of tomatoes and chopped green onion and top
it with shredded cheese.
Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese melts, serve
warm with ketchup on top, add pepper if you like more spice.
You can also add ham or salami for more taste.
Yum!
