Mushroom melt.

One of our favourite meals is mushroom melt, it bring back memories from back home where you can buy these from street vendors. I add few things that are usually not on them back home like tomato and green onion but the taste is unbelievable.

First stage is butter on the buns:

2. Mushrooms that I cooked the day before:

3. Tomatoes:

4. Green onion:

5. Shredded cheese:

6. Bake in the oven on 400 C for about 10 minutes, I just check if the cheese is melted and the buns feel crunchy.

We like to ad ketchup and black pepper. Everyone likes them different, my younger daughter likes only cheese so there is no mushrooms or tomato, and my older daughter likes only mushrooms. You can put whatever you like on them, make it unique, one of a kind.

Easter.

I hope everyone had a great Easter, we had a very quiet day with a special breakfast on Sunday, we talked with the kids about our memories of Easter from back home and all the traditions from our childhood. It was a great, slow weekend.

In my garden.

It got little bit warmer the past few days and thing start to grow, my garden is waking up. I started few seeds that I keep indoors at night and take them out into the sun during the day. I also cleaned up all the roots from last year so all is ready for new plants.

Chives are growing back

Strawberries are also emerging

Staying home.

The last few weeks has been very interesting, we try to stay home as much as possible, my husband still works with reduced hours, I try to put together some lessons for my kids but despite all that I feel lost. I have days when I just wonder thru the rooms and don't know what to do. Some days are better than others, we try to find something to do like baking, knitting, building with wood and some bullet journal project.
I hope you all staying safe and healthy.
