It's unbelievable how fast time flies, summer is coming to the end and I can see that in my garden. Its getting empty in here, today I will pull out the cucumbers and plant more basil in its place. Soon I will also dig out the sweet potato and after that I will only have herbs left, and the strawberries which are still producing some fruit.
I just discovered your blog. It is delightful. :) My cucumbers have not done well this year and neither have my beans or squash. It has however been a fantastic year for strawberries, cherries and raspberries along with our summer apples.
ReplyDeleteThank You for visiting, I find that it takes couple tries for some plants to start growing, changing the location also helps.
DeleteYour patio/container gardening has amazed me! You truly have a green thumb.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed looking through your blog especially your garden post. In the past I had a porch garden where everything was in containers. It is amazing how much can be grown in a little space. I now have a larger garden. I do plant a window box of lettuce on the inside window sill during the winter. So nice to have fresh.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see how your community garden turned out. Did you get much produce from that plot?

Thank You for visiting, my community garden is doing great, I had a lot of basil and just yesterday I got few tomatoes and green peppers. I will post a picture with my next garden post.
