I love this time of the year, all the preserving and eating delicious fresh fruits and veggies, it keeps me really busy. This year I am planning to try new things like making home ketchup and relish, pickling mushrooms and beets. I started with mushrooms, they look good and in few weeks we will see how they taste. If they are good (like I hope, because I love mushrooms), they will join my preserving list.
